New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve was so much fun. Two family's came up from Georgia to stay with us. We celebrated with the kids early at about 9:30 then put them to bed. Then the adults stayed up and played games. We celebrated with confetti but all of the husbands stayed out of that. We had so much fun and are looking to make this a new year's tradition.
All of the girls with confetti... good thing the kids were in bed!

Christmas Fun!!

Christmas was so fun this year! We love staying home and enjoying our traditions. We love seeing the glow on our children's faces when they realize that Santa has brought them some treasures. This first pictures is Christmas Eve. Some of our friends- the Allred's invited us over for appetizers and the nativity. This picture is all the kids waiting in anticipation to open their Christmas Eve Gift (pre- matching pajama's).

Here is Emily. She got a Beauty and the Beast snowglobe to add to her collection. She
also got lots of clothes... which she loved!

Here is Austin. He hit it big this year. He got a new, much needed, bike. Santa also brought him all of the things to take care of a hamster. He went to the Pet Store the day after Christmas and picked out the hamster he wanted. He named it Rocket but Rocket figured out how to get out of his cage, so we traded him in for a less adventurous hamster whose name is Punk.
Austin loves Punk. He is his new best friend.

Here is Owen. He got a tricycle for Christmas. It was unwrapped and he went right to
it and rode it around the house all morning. We actually had to bribe him to
open his other presents. He loves is tricycle.

Here is Sweet Aaron. He was content and happy all day! This is him in the stroller. It
was a beautiful day so after all of the presents were opened we took the kids outside to
try out their new bikes and we went for a walk. We had a great Christmas, it was
wonderful to spend time as a family.

Emily's Baptism

Emily was baptized November 29th. We are so proud of her. The baptism was very small and personal. It was very special. She even invited her teacher from school... and she came. We had such a special weekend.

Visitors and Thanksgiving

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit. They came for Emily's baptism and Thanksgiving. We had so much fun! For Thanksgiving we had a bunch of people over. It was so much fun. We did a lot of fun things with grandma and grandpa. We went and saw Bolt in 3D and Madagascar. We also went four- wheeling and on bike rides. Dad got to shop at Walmart almost everyday! (I think he loved that!) We had so much fun with them. We hope they come back soon! Here's just a few of the pictures from their visit.

Visiting Santa!

Santa was visiting at Bass Pro Shop so we took the kids and went! It was before Thanksgiving (which, I know, is against all the rules) and we went anyway. There was hardly anybody there and all of the activites were free! It was fabulous. The kids had a great time and I could relax because there was no crowd. They each sat on Santa's lap and told them their Christmas wishes. Emily- American girl doll --- Austin- bac ku gon --- Owen- kung fu pandan movie --- Aaron- well a clean diaper, food and a warm bed. It was a great evening for the whole family.

Halloween

More catch up! Here is Halloween. We had Ariel, Indian Jones, Yoda and a frog. The kids had a great time trick-or-treating and trunk-or-treating. They were so cute. Austin made up his own costume with things from around the house. I was so proud of him. He got cowboy boots, an old purse for his bag, an old hat of Casey's and a belt for a whip. He was adorable and got a lot of compliment on his costumes. We also went to the pumpkin patch, went on a hay ride, and carved our pumpkins. We had a great Halloween!

Emily's 8th Birthday!

Okay, I am catching up! This is Emily's birthday... it was in October. Here she is. I can't believe that she turned 8! It seems impossible that I have an 8 year old but it's true! She got shoes and clothes.

She had a really fun birthday party with lots of friends. She had a pumpkin themed party with "blood" juice, donut hang, bobbing for apples, and a mummy wrap.

She is a sweet little girl and we love her tons. Happy Birthday!
